The Trust serves the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The area is made up of:

- 14 Primary Care Trusts
- 17 Acute Trusts
- 1 Health Authority
In 2007/8 the ambulance services in the six counties covered undertook:
- 543,076 emergency calls
- More than 1.4 million non emergency patient journeys
Our resources include:
- 273 frontline ambulances
- 215 marked response cars
- 237 non emergency ambulances
- 25 major incident vehicles and decontamination equipment, plus mobile control rooms.
- 110 ambulance stations and response posts
- 3 Health and Emergency Operations Centres (control rooms)
We employ 3,800 people as of March 2008.
