Paula Grayson - non executive director
Paula is a Chartered Companion of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a past Vice President, and works with them on local and national groups.
She runs a personnel
consultancy working with individuals, organisations and Government
departments on good practice in diversity, recruitment, appraisal,
development and Investors in People.
She was appointed an ACAS Arbitrator in 2000. Her personnel career with Unilever culminated as Senior Recruitment Manager, managing the graduate selection process for 30 UK Unilever companies.
As Personnel Executive for the University of Luton, she created new personnel policies and procedures, negotiated on national and local staff contract terms and worked on gaining Investor in People designation. She is Chairman of the Equality Advisory Group for the East of England Structural Funds Strategy Group and chairs/is a member of business, college, charity and local government committees. She was a Non-Executive Director/Chairman of the Audit Committee for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Ambulance and Paramedic Service NHS Trust, prior to merger.
