Adoption Leave Policy - Effective 17 December 07
This document outlines the Adoption Leave Policy and Procedure for The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (the Trust). The Trust acknowledges that working adoptive parents should qualify for similar support and time off as working biological parents and, as such, affords them the rights detailed below in line with the Employment Act 2002 and the Works and Families Act 2006.

This document outlines the Collective Grievance Policy and Procedure for The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (the Trust). The Trust aims to create a harmonious working environment and to maintain good working relationships. It is recognised however that there may be occasions when staff feel aggrieved and wish to seek redress. In instances where a grievance, or part of a grievance, applies to two or more individuals, this will be classed as a collective grievance and this policy will apply.

Flexible Working Arrangements Policy - 17 December 2007
This document outlines the Flexible Working Arrangements Policy and Procedure for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (the Trust). The Trust acknowledges the importance for employees of achieving a balance between work and family commitments. In order to comply with legislation, the Trust must consider flexible working requests from parents or legal guardians of children under the age of 6 or under 18 in the case of a disabled child. However, the Trust has made the decision to extend the right to request flexible working to all eligible employees.

Managing Change Policy - 17 December 2007
This policy outlines the principles the Trust will adopt when managing situations of change within the work place. Wherever possible, the Trust wishes to maintain job security and continuity of employment for all its employees. However, there may be occasions when, for a variety of reasons, some jobs are affected by change and in some cases this may result in redundancy. It does not apply to redeployment on the grounds of health or for disciplinary reasons.
Maternity Leave Policy - 1 Jan 2007

The Trust recognises the contributions of its female staff and offers all pregnant employees and new mothers their statutory maternity leave and pay entitlements in line with the Agenda for Change National Terms and Conditions Handbook, Employment Act 2002 and the Works and Families Act 2006.
