Retirement Age Policy - 17 December 2007

This document outlines the Retirement Age Policy and Procedure for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (the Trust). The Trust wishes to help ensure that staff who are approaching retirement age are given the opportunity prepare for the considerable change in lifestyle that this involves. It is also keen to adopt a flexible approach to retirement, understanding that some employees may prefer to alter their working pattern leading up to their retirement or even request to extend their retirement date into the future.
